This headgear sucks if you are using it in rough field work! Always falls off my head, can’t adjust it to stay on correct. Also will not flip down smooth. Falls super hard or not at all. Just buy the standard headgear or maybe the strap.
I have a massive bump on the back of my head; so normal ratcheting head gear has always bugged me.
This is much more comfortable and completely plug and play. No alterations needed like when buying a generic headgear strap.
The clarity and brightness AND view outperform any welding hood ive used it runs circles aroubd my optrel and lincoln, i had this hood and it wore out a bit (still functions 100% after hundreds of hours if not thousands) i decided to upgrade to an optrel hood and it sucks compared to this, ive tried Lincoln, and i keep going back to this guy, its really shines when welding overhead, the only reason i attempted to walk away from it was because i wanted a flip style for grinding but honestly with the grind mode button on the outside, this is fine, i will never get rid of this thing and will buy it again if i breaks (i abuse mine and weld out of positions and its still holding 100% just dirty and scratched)
DO NOT EVEN BOTHER BUYING ANYTHING ELSE, THIS WORKS BETTER THAN $600 hoods

There are light flashes that occur when using this hood to the point that I cannot use the hood in fear of causing damage to my sight.
This lense is super clear compared to my harbor freight welding hood. 10/10 and good customer service through Tefuawe also. Highly recommend and the clarity is unreal. Will definitely be buying again. Im thinking gold series in the near future to see. Highly recommend to every welder/Apprentice
