Never used welding/ grinding Googles before!! but over all not bad!

I really like how light weight it is, the settings adjustments are made well the indent alone kept me from randomly changing the setting, which is a huge plus, however since I've never used googles like these before so I can only compare it to a standard welders helmet, the viewing window is about thee same as a helmet, the googles seal the light out as they should but they do feel like your wearing googles, the head straps I find to be fairly comfortable and easily adjustable , the auto darkening works great per the darkening mode you select, in grinding mode its nice and clear.. Not sure id use these daily, but I definitely would use them in my garage to weld/ grind some small stuff

Trucolor

The trucolor visor is great, a lot clearer then a normal mask. Mask does not rotate up off face like a normal mask, so takes a little getting used too. After extended usage visor has a tendency to fog up.

Great Welding Helmet

My husband uses a welding helmet on occasion, so I thought I would try this one. It's very nice! The helmet itself has so many great features but my husband loves the LED lights on this one. It really helps him whenever he's welding in the dark garage and he says it's very comfortable to wear. The straps are durable and since the googles detach, it's convenient for almost any welding task he is doing.

Nice and works!

This is a nice helmet with goggles and hood. It comes in a nice carry case for travel and protection. It's comfortable to wear as well. Set up is easy (you provide the batteries) and you're ready to go in no time. We were hesitant at first about the auto-dim feature because, well, what if it didn't? Well, it did, so that was great! The hood is a nice addition though I'm sure some will choose to forgo it especially in hot weather, but it's nice to have if wanted/needed. Recommend this helmet!

Great Alternative to a full face helmet

We got this for my husband to use.

It arrives needing batteries
It comes with directions that are clear and easy to understand.

It seems to be made well.
The straps are sturdy.
The lens seems durable.

To test it out we installed batteries.
Next we used our Tig and Mig welders for a few small jobs.
These goggles worked perfectly.
They were comfortable to wear and my husband felt confident in his safety.

We would buy this again.

Good Lens, but stuck in grind mode

I have a tefauwe 5813 hand. It's stuck in grind mode and won't come out. I went to change my cover lens because it's gotten super dirty from FCAW. I went to weld and noticed the red grind mode button continues to flash. When I cover my hand on the sensors, it activates like it wants to switch, but it doesn't acknowledge (flash once) and the grind mode light is still flashing. It's practically useless at the moment. Not sure if it's under warranty.

I'm sure it would be a five star but unfortunately, you just confirmed, it's been 30 days and still no product. Please do something and get it too me so I can leave a 5 star. I can't wait to try the hood and lense. I know they're good products is why I haven't cancelled my order yet
