Hand series variable shade lens is an innovative 2x4" lens with premium quality for heavy duty. The Hand Gesture function allows welders to switch the lens between Weld and Grind mode in a very efficient and cool way. The lens features digital sensitivity-delay-shade settings, is a power helper for all your welding journeys.

Good Lens, but stuck in grind mode

I have a tefauwe 5813 hand. It's stuck in grind mode and won't come out. I went to change my cover lens because it's gotten super dirty from FCAW. I went to weld and noticed the red grind mode button continues to flash. When I cover my hand on the sensors, it activates like it wants to switch, but it doesn't acknowledge (flash once) and the grind mode light is still flashing. It's practically useless at the moment. Not sure if it's under warranty.

I'm sure it would be a five star but unfortunately, you just confirmed, it's been 30 days and still no product. Please do something and get it too me so I can leave a 5 star. I can't wait to try the hood and lense. I know they're good products is why I haven't cancelled my order yet

Gold 5813

Had mine for a little over a year, overall its a good quality lens. I’ve gotten too close to the puddle and its blacked out several times but as long as you give it time to cool down before welding again you’ll be good. The only down fall is that whenever your in confined or dark space the lens likes to switch to grind mode and since i didn’t want to order the slotted clear lens i would constantly have to take my lens out to switch it back to weld mode which is a little inconvenient but other than that i would recommend this lens for shop or outdoor use any time of the day.

La soldadura en construcciones pesadas es difícil para los escudos de automóviles. He destruido varios cascos de oscurecimiento automático caros a lo largo del tiempo y, por lo general, solo uso los cascos de fibra de metal que suministran los contratistas. He tenido otras lentes automáticas de este tamaño antes, pero el color era extraño y estaban demasiado oscuras cuando estaban apagadas. Esta es una lente de oscurecimiento automático de inserción de mejor calidad.

¡Nunca antes usé Googles para soldar/esmerilar! pero sobre todo no está mal!

Realmente me gusta lo liviano que es, los ajustes de configuración están bien hechos, la sangría por sí sola me impidió cambiar la configuración aleatoriamente, lo cual es una gran ventaja, sin embargo, como nunca antes había usado Google como estos, solo puedo compararlo con un casco de soldador estándar, la ventana de visualización es casi igual a la de un casco, las gafas sellan la luz como deberían pero se sienten como si estuvieras usando gafas, las correas para la cabeza me parecen bastante cómodas y fácilmente ajustables, el oscurecimiento automático funciona muy bien según el modo de oscurecimiento que seleccione, en el modo de esmerilado es agradable y claro. No estoy seguro de usar estos a diario, pero definitivamente los usaría en mi garaje para soldar/esmerilar algunas cosas pequeñas
