Not very ➨ ExtremelyJust as described and exactly what all the review videos I watched of this hood from Taylor Welding, The 30 hour review, Datboimiggz..they all did an awesome job describing the features of this hood that sold me on it. I upgraded the headgear fasteners to the aluminum ones that made it even better. I was debating between this hood and the fibre metal pipeliner hood. I’m glad I went with this hood as it’s already chopped and feels great wearing it. Thanks!
Really great product and really well made
First and foremost, i’ve always been a huge fan of Tefuawe’s lenses, but this one in particular takes the cake. Working at a fab shop that has rules about using double eye protection when welding makes things like beveling a little inconvenient with a sugar scoop. I have been using one of the their other shade 10’s for awhile but it blacks out whenever I’m grinding but after getting the Gold 5813, it’s been so much easier just setting my lens to grind vs trying to find a face shield in the shop.
I also really enjoy having the option to change the shade depending on what process I’m welding with. Low amperage welds i can leave it on 10 but sometimes when i need to do any welding with higher amps, it’s nice to just press a button instead of replacing the shade
I'm a 1st year Apprentice pupe fitters. As of now this thing does everything and more. Highly suggest.
It's been 30 days and I have yet to receive my order, will not be ordering again.
